Invest in theatre - become an Angel!

British commercial theatre depends on individuals who put money into productions.  These investors are called 'Angels' and the West End of London would collapse without them.  It's a bit like investing in stocks and shares - although arguably more fun!  Like the stock market though, it is also risky and closely controlled by the Financial Services Authority.  Shares, or 'units' as they are called, are used to capitalise productions and are usually about £2,000 each, although half units are sometimes available. If the show makes money, so do you.  If it loses money, so do you too!

Maverick, is a non-profit distributing limited company, but after funding problems during the credit crunch, Artistic Director Nick Hennegan has created a company outside Maverick that will allow Angels to invest in Maverick's larger works. See Nicholas Hennegan Limited.  We are starting with the national tour of 'Hancocks Finest Hour', by Colin Bennett.  Most or all of the production costs will be raised from Angels.  If you would like to know more, please fill in the form below.  Without obligation, of course.

We held a very successful event for potential investors in London. If you'd like to know how it went, please get in touch!

Or if you are curious about theatre, producing and investing, why not attend 'An Introduction to Creative Producing'?  See details, HERE.
